Business Philosophy

MTR has been an Independent Registered Investment Adivor since 1978, we don’t try to beat the equities markets, our goal is to help our clients outpace inflation; they need to be able to buy the same goods and services well into retirement that they buy today, adjusted for inflation. Preservation of capital is ‘Sacrosanct.’ We are very conservative. From December 1999 to December 2011, unlike the equities market losses, we averaged a substantial gain and we achieved this by making only 2.5 moves per year.
